Through the efforts of Senator Ken LaValle, LISEC has received a matching grant for the development of the Bayles Boat Shed from NY State Department of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation in the amount of $50,000.

We also have commitments for donations of in-kind services and materials totaling an additional $50,000.

With the ambitious undertaking of building the Bayles Boat Shed, as a permanent workshop and educational center at Harborfront Park, LISEC is at a time in its life unlike any other. We are poised for growth, and in order to grow we need the help of the community. In the letter on the first page, our financial progress to date is outlined.
