HELP SUPPORT LISEC AND THE BAYLES BOAT SHOP

Heading 1

"Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does"

                                                                                       -William JamesC.  Wm Ja

The Board of Directors of the Long Island Seaport & Eco Center sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are all safe and healthy during these most unsettling of times. Here at the Bayles Boat shop we have been fortunate that all of our active volunteers have remained virus-free while continuing to support our projects on a limited basis.

This has been a challenging year. Our build & restoration projects, after a four month shutdown, have slowed down considerably under our self-imposed limited staffing guidelines and our fledgling Student & Youth Boatbuilding Program, still shuttered, will hopefully restart in October 2021. Our annual fundraising events, the Quick & Dirty Boat Building Competition and annual boat raffle also had to be cancelled. This has all taken a toll on our financial health.

Fortunately, many of our annual Quick & Dirty event sponsors, plus some new sponsors, stepped up to help get us through the summer by renewing their annual contributions. Their generosity helped us beyond measure.

Since our very beginning, our success in providing a community-based local resource has been made possible thanks to people just like you. Through your generous tax-deductible donation, no matter how great or small, we will truly be able to make a difference by continuing to provide programs aimed at benefiting the lives of both young and old alike. We are grateful for any help you can provide, and promise it will change lives for the better.

The Bayles Boat Shop truly is a community effort to be enjoyed by all.
